Two more awards for Escape Ltd.
Mr. Miroslav Varga, who works in Escape Ltd., won 2 awards at Web::Strategy 6 Conference . First award was given for the best lecturer, while the second award was given for the best lecture. According to survey results, in which conference attendants participated, Mr. Varga was evaluate as concise, brief, clear lecturer with the good sense of humor. Congratulations!

Escape awarded with Golden Web Marketing Campaign 2008
Escape Ltd was awarded for its web implementations in 2008 in category Golden Web Marketing Campaign 2008. This prize was awarded at the fourth regional conference on contextual advertising and browser marketing, called "Web:Strategy 4 - Lost in context" .

Grafo plast and Belgian Entrepreneurs Meeting
Cluster member: Grafo plast met with Belgian entrepreneurs at 4th in a row multisectoral visit of Belgian companies to Croatia. This meeting was organized by the Economy and Trade Office of Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Zagreb. BIOS tenants and Belgium entrepreneurs had the opportunity to establish a business cooperation and relationship during the meeting.

American consultancy in BIOS Printing and Publishing Cluster
Thanks to cooperation between J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) , Osijek hosts 18 American students. Together with the students from Osijek they are divided in teams and will work on concrete problems of SME's in Osijek. That is one of the reasons why they visited three cluster members: Ivačić, Grafo Plast and Escape. They also had the opportunity to learn more about doing business in these companies.

New Research: Clusters in Croatia 2008
The research "Clusters in Croatia 2008" was conducted in cooperation between Business incubator BIOS and the Agency for Market Research - Audeo. The total number of 58 questionnaires was sent, out of which 24 questionnaires were filled in and sent back. The main motivation for conducting research were introducing the work of clusters as well as presenting their guidelines for the future performances.

InnovAction fair
Business incubator BIOS and ESCAPE presented their products on international fair of knowledge, ideas and innovation "InnovAction" in Udine, Italy from 9th until 11th february 2006. Beside ESCAPE who presented their product web shop, tenants of Technological development centre in Osijek were also presented on the fair. Business incubators and technological parks from Italy, Slovenia, Austria and Croatia sign an agreement "EURONET" on mutual exchange and shared use of technology and innovation.

Another web award for Escape
Escape was once more recognized as one of the best web development companies in Croatia. One of their projects - web pages of Graduate Study Entrepreneurship - was selected in the CARNet Webfestival as the best web page of Croatian Academic Institutions. In the award explanation is among other things stated that "Graduate Study Entrepreneurship webpages are the perfect example of information organization and presentation in a way that really supports and fosters successful learning... these webpages can serve as a best practice for others to follow." Printing and Publishing Cluster Fair took place today in BIOS. The event was officially opened by the City of Osijek Vice Mayor Vladimir Šišljagić. Cluster members presented their products and services and Koncept presented the new printing technology which will ensure better quality of cluster services. New skills and technologies in our cluster
Members of BIOS printing and publishing cluster are constantly upgrading their technology and the skills of their employees. Koncept recently had two of its employees attend a two-week professional training course in Belgium and Ćosić papir purchased a new Heidelberg continuous feeding printing machine which will significantly improve the quality of their services.
